ASA has sent letters to Secretary Mnuchin and two Deputy Secretaries of the US Treasury asking for deferral or to cease collection of the tax completely. ASA has also sent more than 100 letters to Members of Congress and many have sent letters to the Treasury asking for the same. ASA also sent a letter to Ivanka Trump asking for her help with the Treasury for deferral or to cease the tax. ASA is now organizing a Twitter campaign to try to make some more noise about getting the tax deferred.
