Now it’s a place where the tanning community’s smartest members can get together and talk about what’s going on in the industry and what’s happening in their salons,” said Chris Cummings, Smart Tan’s Internet marketing director. “We want to continue to make SmartTan.com a one-stop destination for salon operators.” The forums were an important part of Smart Tan’s recent website overhaul, which launched in late December. “We put a lot of thought and work into making this new website easy to navigate and sharper looking. The forums were a huge addition that we wanted to pay particular attention to. We’ve spent the past two months putting together a strong group of moderators; people that live and breathe this industry,” explained Cummings. The Smart Tan Forums are open to anyone that works in the indoor tanning industry. It includes more than a dozen specifically targeted topics, all aiming to increase awareness and improve certain areas of salon operation.
