If the first email is a waste of time, why would they open the ones that follow? Provide them an offer or discount that\u2019s too good to resist, and frame it as a thank you for signing up. It\u2019s definitely worth it in terms of future engagement and ensuring that you get every subscriber to come through your door at least once.  Keep in touch. You typically want to be careful about overwhelming subscribers with too many emails, but you\u2019ll want to keep in closer touch with recent subscribers.
