The four-salon chain worked a three-day drive to raise awareness that maintaining adequate vitamin D levels can cut breast cancer risk in half, by collecting $2.50 or more from every tanner, treating them to a free upgrade and giving away free lotion packets.  \u201cWe want to thank our distributors Tan U International and New Sunshine LLC for their generous contribution of product,\u201d said Pamm Timm, senior manager at Lectric Beach who spearheaded the fundraising effort. \u201cOur clients are generous to begin with, and many of them donated much more than the token $2.50, but it was a nice way to spoil them a little too and reward them for being an advocate for breast cancer prevention.
