Six percent reported no difference between first quarter 2012 and 2013.<\/p>\n<p>While not overwhelmingly positive, these results do show that business is headed in the right direction. In an earlier Smart Tan poll, only about one-third of salons reported having better financial performance in 2012 than in 2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/smarttan.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/2013-04-30-Poll.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12288\" title=\"2013-04-30-Poll\" src=\"https:\/\/smarttan.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/2013-04-30-Poll.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a recent SmartTan.com poll, half of salons reported better financial performance in the first quarter of 2013 than in the same period of 2012.
