Every member of my staff gets trained to spray tan, but only certain staff members handle male spray customers. We have tried different formulas and are really figuring out what works for us. When we acquired the client list of a competing salon, it was especially beneficial because they didn\u2019t offer sunless. So we offered clients a free tan just to come in and check us out. We got our airbrushing system in my second year of business when we went to the Smart Tan trade show in Nashville. We loved the airbrushing system and took instructional courses on how to spray clients. I was worried that my lack of arts and crafts skills would hold me back, but we did so many free sprays to practice on people that we became great. Now we have customers who request me personally.
