Beaches N\u2019 Dreams Tanning Salon from Woodstock, Ontario was chosen in January to receive the help of Swedish Beauty as part of its\u00a0annual Swedish Beauty Gives Back promotion. This yearly campaign encourages and honors salons that contribute to their local communities by working with charitable organizations. Beaches N\u2019 Dreams was chosen out of over 50 applicants for their admirable efforts. Swedish Beauty co-sponsored the 6th Annual Rise Against Cancer benefit supporting women\u2019s cancer as well as developmental services in the city of Woodstock. We proudly donated 1,000 lotion samples as door prizes, a gift bag for the silent auction and t-shirts as giveaways for the event. The fundraiser was held on Saturday, May 3rd and featured live bands, a silent auction table, door prizes and complimentary pizza. With the help of Swedish Beauty, Beaches N\u2019 Dreams and many other local donations, the event was a great success, raising nearly $32,000 and drawing a nearly sold-out crowd of over 800 people.
