<\/p>\nSmart Tan CEO Matt Russell had the opportunity to visit the central office and manufacturing facility for industry leading sunbed developer KBL AG this April in Dernbach, Germany. Accompanied by KBL CEO Christina Lorenz and Susan Miller, CEO of PC Tan, the exclusive KBL North American importer, Russell experienced first-hand the process of producing a world-class sunbed.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a truly awesome experience to get a look at everything that goes into making these incredible pieces of equipment,\u201d Russell says. \u201cThe facility is so technically advanced \u2013 it was almost like stepping into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n
Along with receiving a tour of KBL\u2019s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to get a look at the technical aspects of the process, Russell met with KBL leaders to discuss the state of the tanning market in Europe.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe European tanning market is always a few years ahead of where we stand in the U.S., so we can learn a lot by looking at the trends that are happening there,\u201d Russell says. \u201cIt was very interesting to see a strong focus on vitamin D and collagen production with KBL\u2019s units under production for Europe and other parts of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
