The Joint Canadian Tanning Association is an essential component to Tan FX Canada\u2019s franchisees. The association provides our ownership group leadership, guidance and communication services. Through the use of multi-faceted social media platforms, the JCTA promotes our franchises as an accredited indoor tanning facility. The JCTA works diligently to generate new and accurate research and provides educational resources for our staff.<\/p>\n
For this reason, the association strongly supports and endorses proper training and certification of its membership and ensures that all employees are Smart Tan Certified. Through this certification, our employees are comprehensively trained to understand and follow exposure schedules, ensure all clients wear approved protective eye wear, teach clients to avoid sunburn and overexposure, maintain proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment, ensure that all Health Canada regulations are adhered to and suggestions from Provincial Public Health advisors are met. We truly feel that the JCTA is dedicated to safeguarding the health of our indoor tanning facilities by providing this guidance to us. It is extremely important to the association that all franchisees promote safe and responsible tanning in moderation along with sharing pertinent information about preventing sunburn.<\/p>\n
The JCTA continues to maintain an effective influence on the provincial and national development of the indoor tanning industry and provides the ownership group with these developments. JCTA\u2019S primary objective for its membership is to play a lead role in the development of scientifically supported data regarding UV light from the sun in comparison to indoor tanning equipment. Because of this, we are a tanning studio that is committed to teaching responsible and balanced sun care and to engaging in higher-level discussion about UV exposure. We can guarantee that decisions about our health, safety and environment are based on the best tanning practices. The JCTA provides our ownership group with this insurance and without their membership, the indoor tanning industry would not meet the standards it does in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n
