Those north of the 37th parallel, or 37 degrees north latitude, will not receive enough direct sunlight to stimulate significant vitamin D production again until the spring. That means anywhere north of San Francisco, across the northern border of the Texas panhandle, to the northern border of North Carolina.<\/p>\n

“This vitamin D deficiency is of particular concern for people who live in areas that don\u2019t receive much direct sunlight, particularly when the seasons change.
