One third \u2014 33 percent \u2014 say clients are visiting more often. The other 19 percent say client counts are about the same. The poll is informal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is consistent with what we\u2019re seeing in the market right now,\u201d Smart Tan Executive Director Joseph Levy said. \u201cThe economy is a factor positively influencing client counts in many regions, but the salons succeeding overall are finding ways to increase transactions per client even if client counts aren\u2019t increasing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/smarttan.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/graph-5-29-12.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9167\" title=\"graph 5 29 12\" src=\"https:\/\/smarttan.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/graph-5-29-12.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"198\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tanning business clients are making fewer salon visits than they did in 2010, according to a SmartTan.com poll conducted in May \u2014 another indication that success models for tanning businesses are evolving.
