Make the page apps images attention grabbing.<\/strong> If you\u2019re going to think of the apps as ads, you have to treat them like ads. \u201cThe language must be attention grabbing. The visuals in the images should pop,\u201d Meloche writes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Use your cover page to draw attention to the ads.<\/strong> Use the image at the top of your page to lead the eye to the app buttons. Try a straightforward approach, with arrows pointing to the buttons, or a subtler, more creative approach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Tell them an interesting story.<\/strong> \u201cMake the ad the headline of an interesting story,\u201d Meloche writes. The ad can draw people in, but you\u2019ve got to keep them turning the page with interesting content or valuable promotions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Ask them to take action (click now).<\/strong> Don\u2019t be afraid to directly ask users to \u201cClick Here,\u201d \u201cLike,\u201d \u201cShare,\u201d \u201cComment,\u201d \u201cConnect,\u201d or whatever action you would like them to take.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Collect information.<\/strong> Always extend an offer that allows you to capture the visitor\u2019s contact information.
