Smart Tan member City Tan in Huntington, West Va., is running a “free tan” week-long special as a high-profile way to attract new clients.

“Tan all week for free. No contracts. No catch,” reads the salon’s promotion, which runs Jan. 14-20 and is being promoted on the salon’s web site and on facebook.

Huntington, a city of about 50,000 people, is located along the Ohio River and is home to Marshall University. City Sun is located a few blocks off campus.
