Q: How is your salon changing its EFT program to be more appealing for clients?
A: We are changing things around. Prior to this year, our EFT only featured the Beach Club and the Ultimate memberships. The Beach Club included unlimited level-one tanning, while the Ultimate combined level-one tanning with up to 10 spray tans each month. Now we are incorporating LED therapy and high-pressure tanning into the EFT program so clients will enjoy more of the equipment.
Q: Why is video important in your salon?
A: We have two different lobby videos that we play regularly. The first is an introduction to tanning. We don’t have that on every day, but we will definitely put it in for a new client to watch. Other people come in and they are nervous about spray tanning, so we put in a video for the spray booth. In the past, we have utilized testimonial videos in the lobby. During the time that someone is waiting, we want to give them something educational to watch.
