A growing trend has clients modeling a new look in the hallways of tanning salons: the terrycloth robe.

“Instead of customers having to dress and undress when they switch services, they lock all their valuables in their lockers and they wander around the store in their bathrobes,” says salon owner Ric Rooney, who chuckles when he remembers he was a bit skeptical at first that customers would be comfortable with the practice.
