Designer Skin has always prided itself on never testing any products on animals. Designer Skin loves all furry friends and knows that their fans do, too. Any time there is an opportunity to support animals, the brand jumps at the chance to help out.
Designer Skin recently donated samples of Ravish Me for VIP Swag Bags gifted at a charity fashion show called “Giving Back…The New Black” hosted by Pacific San Diego Magazine and My Sister’s Closet, a non-profit women’s boutique. There were 200 people in attendance at the event, with all proceeds benefiting the Helen Woodward Animal Rescue Center.
The event featured a celebrity stylist, manicure bar, hair station, makeup bar, fashion show and on-site pet adoptions. A runway was staged in front of My Sister’s Closet where all the latest summer fashions strutted down the runway. Many of the models even walked with dogs from the animal rescue!
The Helen Woodward Animal Rescue Center is a non-profit animal shelter located in San Diego. They are a no-kill animal shelter that has been in business for over 40 years and depends heavily on donations and volunteers to keep running effectively.
