Q: What’s new behind the scenes at Norvell?
A: Actually, the Venetian products we introduced last season has become our number one product, and it’s because this is a product based on science. When you build on science, you can expect to see repeatable results.
Here is what I believe is important: when you go into the salon to get a UV tan, your body develops melanin, which gives you your tan — that is our body’s natural reaction to UV light. People see brown skin, but melanin is not brown. Melanin has purple cast to it — that’s what’s missing from the skin, and that’s why Venetian uses violet bronzers. Instead of using dark brown bronzers that make people look fake, the Venetian products give more natural looking color with violet bronzers.
