To create excitement and engagement in the digital world, California Tan Sunless has launched its “Blogger-A-Month” campaign for 2015. Each month, the brand will send products to social media influencers who blog about beauty and fashion. As 51 percent of tanners purchase lotions due to an online recommendation, California Tan Sunless understands the importance of digital content and is excited to work with bloggers to generate excitement on sunless products and drive additional sales to tanning salons!
To kick off the campaign in March, it was only fitting that the first blogger was California Tan Sunless® Marketing Manager, Ashley Wottring, to give tanners an expert opinion on sunless products. In Ashley’s blog, “fASHionately Me,” you will usually find tips on how to take runway fashion and make it Midwest chic, but for this post, you will find her secrets on getting the perfect tan. Along with her expert advice, she hosted a contest through Instagram, giving tanners the opportunity to win and try out California Tan Sunless products for themselves. Social media tie-ins such as this contest are also an integral part of this campaign as over 44 percent of tanners purchase lotions due to social media influence.
