This summer, Designer Skin proudly teamed up with the Beauty Bus Foundation out of Santa Monica to help support members of the community living with chronic or terminal illnesses and their caregivers.

Ronda Wilkins, CEO, explains, “Beauty Bus Foundation passionately believes that even in the face of life threatening and chronic illness, men, women and children, and their caregivers, deserve dignity, hope and respite through grooming and beauty services and pampering products.”

Many people living with a chronic or terminal illness are on a fixed income or simply do not have resources for beauty products and treatments. Beauty Bus recognizes a need for patients to feel beautiful and like themselves again, and that’s where their foundation steps in. They provide products and services to not only the patients, but the caregivers as well who dedicate their lives to helping care for ill people.

Designer Skin helped by donating nearly 1,000 bottles of Faux Natural Sunless Bronzing Lotion to the cause, providing a way for Beauty Bus recipients to easily pamper themselves with great bronzing skincare at home! Designer Skin believes feeling beautiful is an empowering feeling and was excited to donate to such an amazing cause!
