Designer Skin has always had a love of fashion, so when LA Fashion Week reached out for sponsorship, we were thrilled to be considered! Every year the organization holds a design competition in California, where talented hairstylists, make-up artists and fashion designers gather together and battle it out on the runway for the top spot. Designer Skin values this creativity and in support donated full size sunless lotion to be given away to VIP guests attending the shows, including celebrity bloggers, TV personalities, fashion media editors and celebrity stylists.

Los Angeles Fashion Week is a platform for creative minds and was created to give exposure and support to emerging artists. The winner of the design competition gets their own runway show as well as a $2,000 prize pack and a 4-page spread in Nickii Jean Magazine. Gaining valuable experience like this is extremely helpful for those in the fashion industry, and DS loves to help others achieve their dreams!
