As we count down the final days before the biggest indoor tanning event of the year, Oct. 7-9, here are a few things to keep in mind to help you make the most out of your Smart Tan Nashville experience:

• Hashtag #SmartTanNashville. Take your experience digital by using the hashtag #SmartTanNashville on the pictures and other posts you put on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If you weren’t able to make it this year, search #SmartTanNashville on your favorite social media to catch a glimpse of the fun and excitement.
• Use your guide. The Show Guide that you’ll pick up at registration contains maps, schedule, session information, pages to take notes, vendor information and most any information you’ll need to stay on track. It even contains some personal restaurant recommendations from our staff, if you’re not sure where to grub.
• Arrive early. Get the full show experience by arriving Friday and attending the Advanced Retail Academy, Smart Tan’s UV Tanning Certification, or the American Suntanning Association Open Board Meeting.
• Back to the Bridge! The Welcome Reception is returning to the Bridge Bar inside the Renaissance Hotel on Friday from 7-9pm. All are welcome! If you purchased a ticket, it includes a drink and entry for some great prizes.
• Let us help. If you have any other questions, just look for someone in a blue Smart Tan shirt with “Staff” on the back. We’re not hard to find, and we’ll make sure to get you straightened out.
• Hello, I am…Your badge is necessary for entry into all sessions and the trade show floor. Please keep track of your badge.
• Fuel up. Coffee, bagels and muffins will be provided free-of-charge at the opening session on Saturday morning and at the Sunday morning sessions. There are several lunch options available on the trade show floor and within the Music City Center.
• Winner, winner. Make sure you fill out your Wheel of Smart Tan ticket and drop it in the prize drum near registration. This year you’ll have the chance to win one of three vacation packages worth more than $10,000 total.
• Saturday night fever. The biggest party in the Music City Saturday Night is the Tanning Industry Part hosted by New Sunshine at the Wildhorse Saloon. Get a sponsor wrist band at the New Sunshine booth or free entry.
• Defy expectations. You won’t want to miss Justin Flom’s keynote presentation on Saturday morning. The world-renowned magician and entrepreneur can be expected to put on one of our best shows yet!
• Find the Smart Tan booth. The Smart Tan booth will be located on the show floor with the other vendors again this year. Stop by to meet your favorite membership account manager in person and learn about show specials on Smart Tan membership and certifications.
• See it all. This is your only opportunity to see every UV equipment, sunless, and lotion brand in one place. Take your time and see everything! You never know when you’ll come across something that will make a big difference for your business.
• Keep it comfy. Business casual attire is appropriate for all functions related to Smart Tan Nashville, but comfort should definitely come first, particularly for footwear, with long days on the trade show floor and long nights perusing downtown Nashville.
• Grab some gear. Don’t forget to purchase your Smart Tan Nashville 2016 event T-shirt by registration!
• Experience Nashville. You’ll be busy networking, learning, and checking out the latest and greatest the industry has to offer, but also be sure to take some time to relax and take in all that Nashville has to offer. It’s a truly unique city, and they don’t call it The Music City for nothin’!
