New Sunshine LLC published the following press release today in support of its recent media promotions supporting responsible tanning.

New Sunshine LLC and our family of brands are committed to promoting the message of responsible tanning, both indoor and out. This year we have been excited and pleased to have this communication be well received in both television and print advertising. We are proud to be leading the industry to promote tanning on media platforms not yet addressed by our competitors and believe this will improve the image of the industry as a whole.

In April, we partnered with The Celebrity Apprentice with the Australian Gold® brand and its sunscreen products which allowed us to introduce a nationwide audience to our brand in an entertaining and memorable way.

We have also begun an advertising campaign in some very popular nationwide magazines including People, US Weekly and Cosmo. Our secured placement in Cosmo in June and July introduces a positive message about outdoor tanning to gain color versus avoiding a tan.

The overall statement we are giving in the ads is “Live the Gold Life”. The Color You Crave, The Protection You Need™. And while traditional SPF companies support and financially contribute to dermatologists and the “Sun Scare” epidemic, New Sunshine, Australian Gold, California Tan, Designer Skin and Swedish Beauty DO NOT.

New Sunshine is a major financial contributor to the Indoor Tanning Association. It has never made any financial contribution, or provided any other support, to the American Dermatological Association, or other organization whose values and missions are opposed to New Sunshine’s commitment to responsible indoor and outdoor tanning.

In total, we firmly believe the exposure on national TV and in national magazines will be fabulous for all New Sunshine tanning lotions because as a complete skin care company, we provide our customers with products that fit all of their responsible tanning needs – whether it is our Best-in-Class indoor lotions or the sunscreen products for use when tanning outdoors.
