Earn Customer Trust with Strong Branding

When people know what to expect from your brand, it makes selling easier, and it can bring you customers that otherwise wouldn’t even be in the market for your products or services. Start with these tips:

1.    Be consistent. Branding doesn’t exist without consistency. If you want customers to think of your business as a brand rather than just another place to get a tan, everything needs to be consistent. That means service, retail design, marketing copy and design, and everything else down to the type of candy you leave with the client’s towel. Ever aspect should send the same message.

2.    Be authentic. If you try to be something you’re not, you’ll eventually be exposed, and you’ll lose all credibility. Don’t try to make your brand something you’re not capable of living up to, and don’t ever mislead your clients.

3.    Focus on a niche. Rather than trying to win over everyone at once, find your place in the market and be the best at it.

4.    Be relatable. The ultimate goal is to make your brand so relatable and so emotionally engaging that it draws in people that aren’t even particularly interested in the products and services you offer. It’s about the way being a part of your brand makes them feel.

5.    Be extraordinary. You don’t become a true brand by blending in with the crowd. Find your focus, do it better than anyone else, and don’t be afraid to be different.
