The indoor tanning market is booming in the Eastern European country Georgia, according to a report in The Financial, an on-line newspaper covering the Eastern European business market.

Georgia, a small country of 4.3 million people, is close to Western Asia, bordering Armenia, Russia and Turkey. The country has many western trade ties. According to the paper, Ergoline and Natalia are setting up importing operations in Georgia, and business is promising.

“Initially the company possessed only two apparatus. We purchased these two apparatus on credit, but I was sure that this business would have a future in Tbilisi and in the whole of Georgia,” Marina Shengelia, General Director of Ergoline Georgia, told The Financial. “We managed to destroy the stereotype that the solarium is a harmful place. The most important thing is to know how to use the apparatus and to have professional staff in the studio.”
