Briana Poling has always adored tanning. As a teenager,  she naturally felt that her first job should be in a salon, as she loved the tanning experience. As time went on, she came to realize how intriguing different facets of the industry were and built strong relationships with clients. Everything took off from there.

“I enjoyed going to work and dealing with the people. It started out as a job, and now I love taking care of clients and making them feel better,” says Poling.

Some time after being promoted to assistant manager, the owners approached her and told Poling they were looking to sell the business, but they wanted to first ask her if she was interested in taking over ownership. As she was still quite young and not yet established, she knew she would need financial assistance. Knowing her mother always wanted to own her own business and had a love of tanning, Briana asked her and she agreed to take on the venture.

Since then, they’ve taken their business a step further, adding a boutique and FIT Bodywraps. Sun FX’s mission is to “add color to your life.” Beyond tanning, they certainly do just that, enhancing each client’s day with exceptional customer service that “FX” every tanner positively with every visit.
