VTC Industriebeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KG (“VTC”) from Munich acquires 100% of shares from JK-Holding GmbH (“JK”), Windhagen, from founding family Walter Kratz. In the last 30 years, the family led the company to become the global leader in the sunbed industry. The transaction ́s execution is subject to clearance by the authorities.
JK develops and distributes devices under the brand names “Ergoline”, “BeautyAngel”,”SunAngel”, “Wellsystem” and “Virobuster”. The fields of application range from cosmetic tanning to natural collagen production, treatment of vitamin deficiencies, skin disorders to the relief of orthopedic conditions with UV, near infrared devices and massage systems as well as air hygiene systems.
The JK-Group has active subsidiaries in France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Canada, and the USA. As an innovative leader, JK successively extended its market leadership, with 335 employees the corporate group generated a turnover of 100 million Euro in 2016.
