Optimism prevails among tanning employees this year

JUNE 22, 2009 — Nearly half of tanning business owners say their employees are more upbeat this season than last, according to a poll conducted in June – a remarkably figure given the uncertain state of the general economy.

“This is one more indication that the tanning community is cautiously optimistic this season – that many facilities are experiencing success beyond their expectations for 2009 and that there are good things in store for 2010 and beyond,” Smart Tan Vice President Joseph Levy said. “This is in line with our other poll findings this year.”
