Palm Beach Tan has acquired the Cincinnati Tan chain for an unspecified amount, according to the Dallas Business Journal. The acquisition adds 29 stores across Southwest Ohio, bringing Palm Beach Tan’s salon total to 244 locations in 21 states.

Palm Beach plans to keep most of the employees at Cincinnati Tan and will automatically enroll existing clients into their Premier Rewards program, the article states.

“We are pleased to be adding one of the most well-respected regional chains in our industry to our nationwide family of salons,” said Diane Lucas, Palm Beach Tan president and chief operating officer.

In recent years Palm Beach Tan has acquired a number of franchises, including the Planet Tan franchise based in Texas. Palm Beach has been named the 13th fastest growing privately-held company in the Dallas – Fort Worth area by the SMU Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship.
