Leading tanning equipment supplier expands offerings and undergoes rebranding
Ridgefield, NJ – June 15, 2011 – PC Marketing, Inc., an importer of world-class tanning equipment and supplier of lotions, lamps and parts announced today the joining of forces with KBL America, to become the exclusive North American importer and distributor of the state-of-the-art, German engineered KBL line of tanning beds.
“KBL America is widely respected by customers and the industry for advanced luxury equipment and professional service,” said PC Marketing CEO Susan Miller, an industry expert and Indoor Tanning Association founding board member. “We see this move as an excellent opportunity to strengthen our product offerings and continue the unparalleled personal service our customers expect.”
The KBL brand, which includes one of the fastest-selling tanning units in America, the 6800 Alpha, joins PC’s uwe and Montego Bay exclusive brands of tanning equipment.
“This alliance is part of our ongoing strategy to offer tanning salon owners a comprehensive selection of products to uniquely position them for success,” Miller said.
The partnership propels PC into the beauty segment.
“Now, we can offer our customers multiple options in red light therapy – from Pure Collagen to the elegant Mon Amie and the new hybrid Optima, which combines tanning with collagen boosting technology,” said Eric Haynes, PC’s vice president of sales.
Under the new company structure, Chris Hartman, president of KBL America, joins PC as national sales manager. In addition to Hartman, the entire KBL team will join PC.

PC undergoes rebranding to reflect growth
To highlight all that is new at PC, the company is undergoing a complete rebranding. The company has changed its name and logo to PC Tan and introduced a new tagline – Everything but the sun – to better reflect its position in the marketplace.
