Last year, when a lot of businesses were struggling to keep their doors open, the popular opinion was that it’s not an ideal time to open a new business. For those with a dream, however, the right time to start a business might not follow popular opinion but when an opportunity arises. For Maria Jarman, son Jordan and their family, that opportunity arose last year in February when they decided to open Tanz & Trezures in Brewton, Ala.

Jarman has been a tanner for at least 25 years and has worked within the industry for the last 10 years. She has always been drawn to the beauty that comes from having a bronze glow.
