Leading vitamin D researcher Dr. Michael Holick appeared on NBC’s The Today Show this week, discussing his recent op-ed article on the value and importance of sensible sun exposure.
“Faced with high cancer rates, health authorities have rushed to damn the sun without taking into account the many scientifically documented health benefits it provides,” Holick wrote in the op-ed for the Washington Post.
Dr. Holick will appear at Smart Tan Nashville, Nov. 13-15 2015 to explain future of UV light, including the newest research. what he believes to be the future of UV science, and more. That presentation will be followed by another, “UV Science and Your Salon,” analyzing what all that means for your business. These sessions make up the UV Track of the Smart Tan Nashville educational conference, just one of three tracks in the all-new format.
