More than half of suntan salons say they offer more lotion lines to clients today than they did in 2011, according to a SmartTan.com poll conducted in late December.
According to the poll, 51 percent say they offer more lotion lines today than they did two years ago. Just 22 percent say that number has decreased, while 26 percent say it has not changed.
“The market has found different ways to offer service options to clients, and skin care products are more a part of the tanning experience today than ever,” Smart Tan Executive Director Joseph Levy said. “This poll is one more indication that different stores are finding different success formulas today, but giving the client options seems to be a part of all those equations.”
